Our year of b2b meetings to promote Bologna, among fairs, workshops and networking

Promoting Bologna as a destination for MICE events is at the heart of our mission as the city's official Convention Bureau. A key role of our activities is the participation in trade fairs and b2b events: these are real international showcases where we are able to portray Bologna in person and create strategic connections.

A year of MICE events and business meetings

In addition to participating in the industry's main international trade fairs, we take part in workshops and B2B meetings dedicated to business matching, bringing Bologna into the spotlight of decision makers within the MICE industry.

In 2025 our efforts will extend both nationally, with stops in cities such as Venice, Naples and Modena, and on the international scene, with meetings in Rotterdam, Paris and Prague. We will be attending events organized by ICCA, Convention Bureau Italia, Global MICE Forums and Ediman, as well as major annual events such as IMEX and IBTM. We will also make sure to highlight Bologna in more targeted events, such as E-Workshop Corporate & Incentive and Convening EMEA 2025.

Also this year we will be hosting in our city some remarkable B2B workshops: the third edition of encountER, the first B2B workshop dedicated to MICE in Emilia-Romagna, and Suppliers eXchange Buyers MICE by Travel to Business, a new format designed to connect buyers and suppliers in an effective and innovative way-and more to be revealed soon!
